Photography Consulting · Portfolio Development · Photobooks & Exhibitions
For nearly two decades, I've been working in the world of photography as a curator, consultant, and organizer of exhibitions and festivals. I love connecting photographers, artists, and cultural organizations, helping great work find its audience, and creating opportunities for people to learn, collaborate, and be inspired.
As a Dutch art/photo-historian, based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, I've helped photographers present their work through exhibitions, portfolio reviews, festivals, and publications. My experience includes serving as Curator at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA), Creative Director of the International Photo Festival Leiden, and Executive Director of the Saint Petersburg Month of Photography. I have also done 100s of portfolio reviews and been on juries for national and international organisation, festivals and museums.
Whether you're looking for portfolio feedback, curatorial guidance, or support in taking your work to the next level, I'm here to help you share your vision with confidence.
What I do?
Portfolio Development
Clear, structured feedback on sequencing, editing, and visual coherence.
Photobook Projects
Support from concept and editing through to structure, narrative, and dummy development.
Exhibition & Project Mentorship
Guidance in shaping long-term projects for exhibitions, publication, and institutional contexts.
My focus is the development of strong, intentional photographic projects: portfolios, photobooks, and exhibition-ready bodies of work. Through one-on-one sessions and longer-term mentorship, I help artists clarify their vision, edit their work, and shape projects that can exist beyond the screen.
