With almost two decades of experience in photography and curatorial practice, I have worked with museums, festivals, and international photography platforms, including Fotomuseum, The Hague, International Photo Festival Leiden, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts and the St. Petersburg Month of Photography. I hold a Master's degree in Photography History and Theory from Leiden University, providing a strong foundation in the historical, theoretical, and cultural contexts of photography.

My work has included exhibition curation, portfolio reviews, competition juries, and artist mentorship. I have reviewed hundreds of portfolios at Photo Folio Reviews during Les Rencontres d'Arles in France, LensCulture, and SNAP Orlando, and served on juries including Critical Mass by PhotoLucida, The Fence by Photoville, and Best of Ringling. I've also mentored photographers through the development of exhibitions, publications, and long-term projects, including the Saint Petersburg Photo Laureate Program (since 2023).

The most rewarding part of my work is collaborating with photographers. I enjoy talking through ideas, editing portfolios, preparing exhibitions, and helping artists develop projects over time.
